Develop and Deliver Education

ICF's second significant activity is the development and delivery of educational presentations and materials on issues of early trauma and its effects on attachment and development.

Target audiences include parents (especially adoptive and foster parents), community members, and professionals in fields including education, child welfare and medicine. Presentations and materials are designed to help participants identify children damaged by early experiences, initiate appropriate treatments and interventions, and more quickly begin the process of repairing each child's developmental deficits. ICF staff and members of a volunteer advisory committee will carry out this activity. Educational services and materials will be priced in order to reach the widest possible audience, while also defraying a reasonable portion of the costs of production. Any intellectual property generated in the course of this activity will become the property of the ICF.

Development and delivery of educational presentations and materials furthers ICF's charitable purposes of educating the public regarding critical matters of health and social welfare. This activity began upon the formation of ICF, and will continue indefinitely. It will comprise approximately 20% of ICF activities.
